Field Trip to Foggy Blossom Farm

Sunday June 11, at 11 am. Field Trip to Foggy Blossom Farm in Leechburg PA, a 35 minute drive from central Pittsburgh on 28 North. Bring a lunch, an outdoor chair, and a optional walking stick to tour Dan and Betsy Brockett’s 12 acre perennial farm. Dan was recently an artist in residence at Contemporary Craft. A basket weaver, he crafts his baskets from willow branches grown on the premises. His baskets will be available for purchase. Betsey, a former potter, is currently beekeeper, herbalist, PR and Marketing coordinator for the farm which includes maintaining their website, https://www.foggyblossomfarm.com/ and publishing a newsletter.
The farm is closed to the public, so we are fortunate to schedule a private tour, basketry demonstration and time for a leisurely lunch. Please join us for this special opportunity for Fiberarts Guild members.
