Fiberart International 2025 Call for Entry is open!
Fiberart International is a series of juried exhibitions held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania open to textile artists worldwide. It seeks to exhibit the best of contemporary art and invites submissions that reflect a wide range of works related to the fiber medium. The exhibition is recognized around the world as a benchmark that documents trends and innovations in the field. The goal of the exhibition is to include innovative work rooted in traditional fiber materials, structure, processes and history, as well as art that explores unexpected relationships between fiber and other creative disciplines.
Agreement with Contemporary Craft
The Fiberarts Guild of Pittsburgh has entered a mutually beneficial agreement with Contemporary Craft. This agreement, which was created and recommended by a transition committee (formed from the FI2022 IEC), was reviewed and approved by the FGP Board.
Fiberart International remains an entity of the Fiberarts Guild of Pittsburgh, with management of the FI2025 exhibition facilitated by Contemporary Craft. Included in the agreement is CC’s willingness to partner with the Brew House Association.
Many of the auxiliary components of the show such as the Forum, volunteer art inspection, and awards will be provided at the discretion of FGP’s membership base if the capacity and desire to implement these is present.
