Fiber Sunday: Fiber Group Meetings, Member Presentation, Show & Share

Welcome Back! Our fiber interest groups are back–Spinning, Knit & Crochet, and now including Stitch Circle–all meeting together for an afternoon of projects, learning, and community! Here’s the schedule:
2:00-3:00 pm Fiber Interest Groups
Join our Spinning Interest Group, our Knit & Crochet Interest Group, or our Stitch Circle for an hour of coworking and sharing. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced practitioner, our Fiber Interest Groups are a welcoming space to work on projects and “talk shop” with others who share your interest.
3:00 – 4:00 pm Meet New Guild President Jasmine Davis
Find out what is important to her as she begins her term. What is her passion in fiber art and what has she been working on? She will show off her new work focused on bandweaving and share what she learned this summer at the international Braids and Bands Conference! She’ll have samples you can touch and explore, as well as hands-on demos for anybody who wants to try bandweaving or backstrap weaving.
4:00 – 5:00 pm Show & Share
Bring your latest work or in-progress project to share with fellow Guild members. This informal show & share gives you a chance to talk about your most recent work, share your process, or even ask for feedback if you would like. (Please note: We will be scheduling critique-focused Fiber Feedback sessions at the brand new International Sculpture Center in Lawrenceville soon. Show & Share sessions are intended to be more informal and less focused on critique.)
