Call for Volunteers
The Outreach Committee has received several invitations to have a FGP table at upcoming events. We are in need of Guild volunteers to sit for a shift at these events.
The soonest one is A Fair in the Park. Guild volunteers will be asked to sit for a shift on Friday, Sept 5, or Saturday, Sept 6, for 3-4 hours. We will be there to promote the Guild (no selling or hands-on activities). We are particularly looking for members who are willing to demo their particular fiber skill, bring some of their items to show, and hand out info about the Guild.
This is a great chance for new members to get involved and also fun for those who have done it before. Each shift will have 2 or 3 members so it is great to socialize as well.
