Programs Committee: Call for Volunteers (Zoom)

The Programs Committee is seeking volunteers to help us plan for 2027. Join us to learn more about some of the opportunities to get involved, including:
Speaker engagements for Fiber Sunday events — we’ve got a great directory of members who have generously contributed their time, and we also have access to a broader network of celebrated artists all over the country! Fiber Sunday events happen on a monthly basis, so we’re looking to queue up and get folks slotted in as early as possible.
Workshops — these a great way to bring FGP members together, whether in-person or virtually. We’re looking to host 2 or more workshops in 2027 and we’ve love some ideas and support to make this happen.
Field trips — they come in a variety of experiences, whether we’re traveling to a festival, checking out a new exhibition, or touring a fiber mill. We’re looking to organize 2 or more field trips in 2027 and we’d love some suggestions on how to craft these meaningful experiences for our members.
