Drop Spindle Skill Share

“Drop spindle” is a fun way to make yarn and a skill that can be used by many fiber artists including weavers, knitters and crocheters. 

Please join us at the Sixth Church basement in Squirrel Hill to learn or share your knowledge of hand spinning and watch demonstrations of spinning on a drop spindle and on a wheel. Members will be there who can help you get started on a spindle. 

Drop Spindles will be available for purchase or borrow if you don’t have one. One of our members is making them by hand for this event.
