October President’s Message

Happy Friday! Fridays are the best, right? To get your weekend started I have some great updates for you! I’ll keep it short and sweet.

Come one, come all to our FGP Community Celebration!

Join us on Sunday, November 3rd at Velum Fermentation to celebrate 10+ years of community generated artworks! From guild produced projects to member driven initiatives, we will celebrate us, together. Friends, family and the many people who have worked on these public displays are welcome!

Register now and you’ll be prompted to nominate a guild member you love for an award.

Call for Interest . . .

There is a concept for mixed-use space project in the works. What will it be? Help decide! The possibilities are endless and the opportunity is knocking.

Help brainstorm and plan for the upcoming Fiberart International auxiliary programming. We will gather to discuss soon!

Interest Groups are back!

We had 18 people attend last Sunday’s first post-Covid casual meet up. Want to see a regular gathering around a material or technique? Let us know!

If you want to be a part of starting something wonderful contact membership chair Cheryl Hopper to express your interest.

Tomorrow is the deadline for Spotlight, our non-jurored member exhibition!

I’m happy to report that 100% of the folks who came to the photography skill-share last weekend entered the show, utilizing the new tips and tricks we covered.

In case you missed it, call me! My number is in the directory. I love to help and I live for a deadline.

Yours truly,

Staci
