Spinning, Carding & Weaving Special Interest Group

BC (before Covid) programs and activities by the Guild included interest groups – small groups of Guild members who were particularly interested in one fiber medium or technique.  Groups were informally structured and self-governed, each deciding how, where, and when to meet, and how to focus their activities.

Our two recent skill share workshops that focused on spinning and weaving resulted in a group of members who want to explore starting a group that meets on a regular basis.

Our host Dayle Kendall from Wildchild welcomes us to unwind, spin, and card as we plan how to continue our mission to have regular gatherings with like-minded fiber friends to learn and share information about creating and using yarn and thread from animal and plant fibers.
