Going Beyond the Basket: Structures, Techniques & Fiber Connections with Traycee Bosle
Traycee Bosle is a Pittsburgh, PA-based basketry fiber artist, marketer, and entrepreneur. Working primarily in reed, her practice explores the intersection of art and craft, exhibition and commerce. Through her studio, Craftisinal Creative Works, she has sold more than 2,000 handwoven baskets, exhibition pieces, ornaments, and kits throughout the United States. She also teaches and demonstrates basketry in her community on YouTube. For Traycee, basket weaving connects generations, carrying the stories and traditions of our ancestors. Through her work and teaching, she seeks to carry that connection forward, honoring the past while bringing basketry into the future and sharing its possibilities with the world.
