This is a fiber focused grant opportunity for artists from various backgrounds and genres. We'd like to encourage our fiber art enthusiasts to explore new opportunities and expand their experience. You don’t need to be a fiber artist, but the grant proposal must be fiber focused. You don't need to be a FGP member to apply for this grant; but if you are a recipient of the grant, joining FGP is a requirement.

How will this enhance your development as an artist/maker using fiber art? Funding can be used for a variety of growth opportunities, from expanding your maker business to covering exhibition framing costs, taking a class, trying a new technique, attending a conference, buying equipment, professional development, community outreach, help with exhibition entry cost, materials to produce new work, etc.

Recipients are asked to share back to our community in a manner of their choosing, for example by offering a demonstration, giving a lecture, sharing newly learned resources, helping other members with the application process, etc.
