Welcome Blanket transforms the traditional act of crafting a blanket into a poignant gesture of hospitality and inclusion for immigrants and refugees arriving in the United States\, accompanied by personal notes and shared stories from the maker. \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nTogether\, these contributions form a moving installation that subverts the idea of borders as barriers\, instead weaving a powerful symbol of unity and welcome. We’ve intentionally broken the work into small\, manageable logistical puzzle pieces that fit together\, making it easy to contribute in ways that match your interests\, skills\, and availability. \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nWe are still seeking co-directors to take the helm\, but it’s important to note that these roles will look very different from past iterations of the exhibition. Co-directorship would be more of a purely project management and liaison role\, supported by a clear plan\, a solid framework\, and a large\, energized team already in motion.
