DESCRIPTION:Show & Shares as well as Critiques will become hybrid. They will be both in Person at Contemporary Craft in Lawrenceville\, 5645 Butler Street 15201 and also on Zoom. We will reevaluate monthly to see if we continue with this modality. Please pre-register so we can update you on any changes to the format.\nYou have a choice to be there:\n–IN PERSON if you are vaccinated\, boosted and masked\, or 10 days after you have recovered from Covid or\n–On Zoom.\nWhat is the difference between a Show & Share and a Critique? You can attend both! You can attend even if you have no work to share.\nShow & Share: for members who don’t want suggestions\, they just want to show off\, share what they are working on\, and meet other Guild members.\nCritique: for members who want constructive suggestions about their work to solve technical\, aesthetic or presentation problems. \nThis is a fun way to stay connected and get inspired!!

DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, April 28\, 5 pm on Zoom\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDimensional Fiber and Annual Guild Voting Meeting\, featuring member artists\, weaver Megan Adgate\, and felter Debbie Penley.  Both artists explore the dimensional aspects of fiber in their work.\nDebbie Penley\, a self -taught artist\, worked in clay for many years\, and found a love for fiber making amigurumi animals out of crochet. Then she discovered felting and realized that she could make pieces faster\, the rest is “history.”\nMegan Adgate is a self-taught fiber artist who creates sculptural tapestry. Her work explores themes of manipulation and control\, getting inspiration from the symbiotic relationships of plants. She sells her work online and at pop-up markets throughout the city. Please remember that our annual business meeting is when we elect our new Board of Directors.  After the short meeting we will have a ThrED Talk program.
