Nancy Koenigsberg is a full time artist and maintains a studio in NYC. Her work uses a variety of textile techniques – weaving, knotting and crochet. Current materials are primarily steel and copper wires of various weights and colors. Nancy has exhibited widely in the US, Europe and Asia, both in juried and invitational exhibitions. Her work is in many private and public collections, including Houston Museum of Fine Arts, Cleveland Museum, Museum of Arts and Design, NYC and the Racine Art Museum. She is a founding member of the Textile Study Group of New York, Inc. and currently serves as its President Emerita. Nancy uses industrial materials with traditional forms of weaving and knotting to create two and three dimensional structures and textiles.
